Spare Ruminations of God, Family and Country - front cover.jpg

This is a collection of thirty three essays and articles of widely diverse topics. The spare ruminations are left-over thoughts needing to be expressed. The author found some of his writing in an archive that had never been published; like an unexpected song. This encouraged him to write some new articles. These are the things that are in this book – his final thoughts if you will – for God, family and country.

The articles are non-fiction, many driven from American history, and written with an honest and heartfelt perspective. Truthful stories of our past are offered in short, enjoyable bites. Concerns for our national future, our heritage and culture are articulated in these thoughtful, clearly presented and convincing articles. This book may be considered a sequel to the author’s Collected Essays on Americanism.
